Production Manager Small Packaging

WAM Pennings is a flower bulb nursery and exporter with customers all over the world. Due to the growth of our company, especially in packaged flower bulbs for wholesale and retail, we are immediately looking for an enthusiastic colleague for our production department!

We are looking for a colleague who can set out the lines in our packing department during the busy period and distribute work and who can also maintain the machines independently during the quiet period. If you are someone who can lead, has a good overview, is precise and accurate, and is technical, then this job is for you! In this position you are partly responsible for the order process and that the customer receives his products on time and that they are of good quality.

You are responsible for, among other things:

  • Order handling in production
  • Managing a group of colleagues during the peak period
  • Quality control
  • Technical problems with the machine

What do we expect from you?

  • You have good communication skills and are people-oriented
  • Taking initiative, keeping an overview and being decisive appeal to you
  • Knowledge and/or affinity with flower bulbs or the agricultural sector is an advantage
  • Flexibility
  • Possibly longer days and Saturdays during peak periods (July-August and end of December - January)
  • Technical
